Wadham House
Mount Waverley Community Activity Centre

Wadham House is owned and maintained by the Monash Council as a service to local community groups.
It is managed by a Committee of Volunteers raised from Affiliated groups. This provides low cost facilities for small to medium sized community groups who need to hold regular meetings throughout the year.

The premises are organised to enable small affiliated community groups to run their regular functions at very economical cost. Affiliated groups can apply to run additional special events where gaps exist in the Calendar.
Affiliated groups are allocated times on the Calendar, Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings. Some flexibility exists in hours and spaces accessible, subject to the needs of other regular groups operating on the same day.
It is possible to run quiet meetings upstairs and downstairs simultaneously. More physically active and noisy events may affect other users in the building so may face some limits in scheduling.
At the end of their session, groups are expected to run the Sabco carpet sweeper or vacuum over the rooms used, and to thoroughly wash and dry all kitchen equipment, leaving it pristine for the next group.
Wadham House is not available for social functions. Group size cannot exceed 50 people.
